Adam Wang is a rising 8th grader who lives in Maryland. He is interested in covering technology-related topics and discussing how they impact communities. He loves math and robotics. During his spare time, he reads and plays table tennis and violin. Adam joined debate clubs outside of school for about two years and participated in two tournaments.
Akshan Ranasinghe is a rising 10th grader at Marriotts Ridge High School. He has a deep passion for public service and is eager to explore how law and public policy can drive meaningful societal change. Akshan is currently interning for Howard County Delegate Dr. Wu and serving as his school's Class President. In his leisure time, he enjoys studying philosophy and exploring new places with his friends.
Annabelle Wu is a 10th grader at River Hill High School. She volunteers at the Lighthouse Senior Living Center and has worked with Science Olympiad Division A to help serve her community. Annabelle strives to represent AAPI students as a secretary in the class of 2027 Student Government Association. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and reading fantasy novels.
Brian Wang is a rising eighth grader who lives in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He joined his school’s newspaper club at Robert Frost and published news articles in the school newspaper. He also joined a debate club when he was young. He likes to help others express their ideas. He is interested in STEM education subjects. His hobbies are playing ping pong, reading sci-fi books, and robotics.
Bryan Li is in the 2026 graduating class at River Hill High School. He is passionate about AAPI advocacy and representation along with public service, which he has been doing for several years. In his spare time, Bryan likes to play tennis with his friends.
Eileen is an eighth grader living in Clarksville, Maryland. She has enjoyed creative writing since elementary school, but she only recently realized her passion for essay and journalistic writing. She believes in spreading information in a manner so as to increase the understanding the populace is able to derive from it. Eileen also likes doing math problems and reading fantasy novels.
